Are you interested in being a volunteer ?

Planet Rehab is an environmental nonprofit with the mission of protecting the environment by nurturing the relationship between humanity and nature. Planet Rehab has three main goals: environmental education, habitat protection, and species propagation.

Please note volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and make a commitment of minimum eight (8) hours per month.

Volunteer Opportunity to work with gorgeous birds at Hillcrest Retirement Community in La Verne:

Planet Rehab currently cares for this beautiful, tropically planted aviary at Hillcrest.  You will have the opportunity to feed the birds by hand!  As part of this team you are not only helping these beautiful birds (which include doves, quail and exotic finches from all over the world), but also providing an invaluable community service for the seniors at Hillcrest Retirement Home.  Responsibilities include feeding birds, watering, landscaping and planting.

Planet Rehab has permanently moved our home base to Bocas del Torro, Panama.

However, volunteer opportunities still exist! Most of the lovely birds we cared for in our animal sanctuary are now being housed in a nearby aviary, and we need volunteers to help look after them.

If you are interested, please fill out the interest form below. Details about the orientation and training will be updated here, so keep checking back!
