Abbey the Muscovy Duck

Abbey was originally purchased as a "pet" for a couple's daughter. Abbey is one of our sweetest ducks and has quickly become the favorite of many volunteers! She will happily eat seeds and corn from your hands and she will accept any and all pets and scratch-ies you can offer.

Mandarin Lagoon

Walk through our Mandarin Lagoon and observe the dramatic colors of our Mandarin Ducks.

As you walk through the habitat, you will be escorted by a crowd of rambunctious young peacocks and a shy, but super sweet Muscovy Duck. In turn, you can give them a tip for "their service" by petting their back or feeding them from your hands. Don't forget to look in the water to see a few red-eared sliders!

The Residents

Ashaar the Pied Indian Peafowl

When I was a young baby, I was the first one in my brood to approach my very generous feeder for feed. They say I was being brave, but honestly, I was just really hungry. But that's the reason why my name is Ashaar! FYI Ashaar is an Islamic name that means brave and courageous!

Chónggāo de the White Mandarin Duck

Mandarin Ducks are among the planet's most beautiful birds. In their native land of China, a pair of Mandarin Ducks was often given as a present to newlywed couples - both to signify beauty and fidelity. There are several possible mutations for Mandarin Ducks, including Chónggāo de's white mutation.

Charger the Chinese Golden Pheasant

Charger can be usually seen patrolling the perimeter of his habitat in search for gold. His favorite food is sunflower seeds and will ignore you unless you have a few in your hands. And if you do have sunflower seeds, he will be your best friend!

Camille the Pied Indian Peahen

Camille is a very sweet Pied Indian Blue Peacock that came to Planet Rehab when she was 2 years old in 2012.  She loves hanging out with the other peacocks in her habitat and lets the boys know she is not at all impressed when they display for her...

Ceasar the White Indian Peacock

This is Caesar and he is the king of the peacocks at Planet Rehab. He came to Planet Rehab as a wild young bir. Upon entering, Caesar strutted in and immediately took his place as prince...
