Planet Rehab is located in Boca del Toro, Panama per our recent move in 2019. When we were located in San Dimas, CA we cared for numerous animals in our animal sanctuary. Now, in Panama at Green Acres Chocolate Farm and Nature Preserve, we still hope to provide care for animals in need through our Endangered Species Program, Amphibian Rehabilitation Program, and Butterfly Pollinator and Development.
Green Acres is a part of Planet Rehab, a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting nature. Planet Rehab is gravely concerned at the rapid decline of our environment. According to the latest United Nations Program Report 150-200 species are going extinct each day. The animals that call Green Acres their home are ambassadors of our mission to protect all wildlife.
Planet Rehab offers educational, internship and mentorship programs and is currently hosting students from over 10 local high schools and various colleges and universities through the United States. Planet Rehab gives children and adults the opportunity to connect with nature.
Planet Rehab and Green Acres is solely funded by donations and sponsorships. Planet Rehab is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization and all donations are 100% tax deductible.
